People On Twitter Are Fighting Over Whether Or Not Taugeh Is Nice

Twitter has been abuzz lately after a photo went viral showing a large wok filled with fried noodles and beansprouts, also known as taugeh
The tweet posted by Muhamad Ridzuan on 8 May was captioned:
"Beansprouts are the destroyer of civilisations! Get rid of taugeh!"
The post has since garnered over 4,000 retweets and 3,000 likes, as several netizens echoed his sentiments
Meanwhile, others disagreed with him saying that eating dishes without the crunchiness of beansprouts doesn't have the same effect
"Mee goreng or fried kuey teow isn't as delicious without taugeh because the taugeh gives it flavour and aroma," one netizen commented.
"Mee or kuey teow goreng is not perfect without fresh taugeh that goes 'krup krap' when it enters your mouth," another netizen wrote.
