As adults, we're often told that confidence is key when attempting to navigate through life and all its complications.

But one kid may have just given the world all the courage to be authentically ourselves at any given moment.

A recent TikTok has been going viral after one primary school student danced to his heart's content during his school's assembly in Thailand.

In the 20-second clip, the student can be seen moving to the groove of his own beat as a performance takes place on-stage in his school. From snapping his fingers to waving his hands, the student even twerks by the end of the video.

Cheering him on, all the other students have their eyes glued to their friend. Towards the end of the clip, one of the boy's schoolmates also gets up to dance with him momentarily.

Many people got super excited seeing the young boy dance confidently, with one user saying that he was waiting his entire life for that moment.

A few people even pointed out how the teacher in the background of the clip looked stunned, but enjoyed his student's tenacity and bravery, having clapped for the boy.

"That teacher in blue was like, 'That's the first I've seen!'" wrote one user.

However, one of the most fruitful comments came from a user who said that they aspire for the confidence this primary school student had.

"His dance is cooler than me, I'm jealous!" said one user.

Another person also stated that this is the only kind of acceptable childhood to have.
