Malaysian Entrepreneur Joel Neoh Is Roblox’s New SEA & Oceania Managing Director
He brings two decades of experience building businesses across the region.
Roblox has appointed Malaysian entrepreneur Joel Neoh as its managing director for Southeast Asia and Oceania

In a statement on 30 October, Roblox said Neoh joined earlier this month and will lead its business across both regions. He will oversee regional strategy, build partnerships, and support local developers and creators.
Part of his job will be helping to support creators and keeping young players safe

Neoh will support developers and studios in using Roblox's tools to grow and reach wider audiences.
"We have an opportunity to help a new generation of creators across Southeast Asia and Oceania turn ideas into experiences, communities, and businesses that can reach the world," he said.
Alongside that ambition, he stressed the responsibility to protect younger users.
"As we grow, keeping young people safe and working closely with parents, regulators, and local communities will remain central to everything we do."
If his name sounds familiar, Neoh has founded and led businesses across several parts of Asia's tech industry
He founded GroupsMore and Fave, went on to lead Groupon Asia Pacific, and most recently oversaw consumer health businesses as managing director at Prenetics. He is also a founding partner of First Move, an early-stage venture capital platform supporting Southeast Asian entrepreneurs, and has backed more than 50 startups across Asia.
