This Hari Raya, Bata has teamed up with local brand Novak Batik to come up with limited-edition Raya packets that are oh-so-pretty!
Inspired by the theme 'A Step Closer', the design starts with the ketupat, a timeless symbol of returning home.
From there, flowing lines evolve into bunga tanjung and bunga melur, reflecting humility, sincerity, and togetherness, the kind of warmth that makes Raya truly meaningful.
The collaboration with Novak Batik was a natural choice, brought together by a shared appreciation for Malaysian heritage
Known for reinterpreting batik through a modern and thoughtful lens, Novak Batik brings depth, meaning, and storytelling into every detail of the design.
"Raya has always been about coming home not just physically, but emotionally, reconnecting with the people and traditions that matter most," said Iman Zulkifli, Head of Marketing Bata Malaysia and Singapore.
"Through this collaboration with Novak Batik, we wanted to create something meaningful a simple piece that carries a deeper story, and reflects the warmth and spirit of Raya in a way that feels both personal and relevant today."
