K-Pop Star Seungri's Ramen Restaurant Finally Opened Its First Outlet In Malaysia!
The wait is finally over.
K-pop superstar Seungri's highly anticipated ramen restaurant, Aori Ramen has finally opened its doors in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 9 June
Seungri opened his first Aori Ramen restaurant in Cheongdam-dong in South Korea back in December 2016.
In less than two years, the BIGBANG member's popular ramen business has expanded rapidly, as he opened more outlets in his home country and its surrounding region(s).
The outlet in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, which was announced last November, is Aori Ramen's 40th branch.
Seungri himself was in Malaysia earlier this year to tease the opening of the outlet in the shopping centre
In case you're wondering what to try for your first visit, the Aori Ramen is a savoury delight
The restaurant's signature tonkotsu ramen, Aori Ramen lite, is priced at RM31 for one bowl. Meanwhile, the Aori Ramen, which comes with additional marinated soft boiled egg, dried seaweed, and marinated bamboo shoot, costs RM35.
If you're not too keen on noodles, opt for rice instead with the TKG (tamago kake gohan), yet another specialty at Aori Ramen
The TKG is a traditional Japanese staple for breakfast. Essentially, it's a simple dish consisting of cooked rice topped with a beautiful raw egg and Aori Ramen’s special ingredients.
If you need some space to yourself, the restaurant is designed in such a way that customers can secure a private booth with individual service windows
Alternatively, if you're with friends or family, the restaurant also has ample space to seat large groups of diners
You can expect a huge crowd and possibly a long queue as the newly opened restaurant has already sold out on several occasions over the past few days
Aori Ramen opens from 10am to 10pm everyday in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
Address: Lot 6.36.00, Level 6, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur 168, Jalan Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur 55100.
