Borenos Fried Chicken has officially opened in Damansara Uptown, marking its ninth outlet in Malaysia and third in Peninsular Malaysia
Originally from Sabah, the homegrown fast-food brand was established in 2015 and has since built a strong following, especially among those who swear by their crispy, flavour-packed fried chicken.
If you've never been to a Borenos outlet, they're best known for their signature fried chicken, alongside crowd favourites like their cheesy chicken rice, which regulars often pair with sides like mashed potatoes and coleslaw.
Over the years, Borenos has built a loyal following in Sabah with several outlets, and has since expanded into Peninsular Malaysia with locations in Puchong and Bangi, and now Damansara Uptown
The brand started from a simple idea: getting local flavours right, using fresh ingredients and delivering that signature, unforgettable crunch.
Their first outlet in Peninsular Malaysia, located in Puchong, quickly became a go-to spot (especially for Sabahans living in the Klang Valley craving a taste of home), so expectations for this new Uptown location are already pretty high.
