Bored of doing the same old things when you go out with friends? Well, there's a brand new attraction coming to town that y'all definitely must try — SPY Game!

Brought to you by the same people behind popular escape room franchise Breakout and its sister brand HAUNTU, SPY Game is a never-before-seen immersive game that thrusts you into the world of spies. Ooooo, sounds intriguing, doesn't it?

In SPY Game, you'll have to navigate through a room filled with patrolling Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) and complete the mission required either via stealth or through infiltration by disguises

Unlike in Breakout, this isn't an escape room where you have to solve puzzles to get out. If you've ever been to HAUNTU or its recently wrapped event Lost in Karak, you'll be familiar with interacting with NPCs.

Take on your own character and navigate your way through a story, interacting with NPCs and solving missions along the way.

But instead of horror, SPY Game will make you feel as if you're part of a Mission Impossible-esque game, giving you a surreal and one-of-a-kind experience equivalent to being immersed in a movie.

It's time to bring out your inner James Bond to sneak, hide, and disguise your way to victory!

Best played in groups of two to six players, each game lasts 30 minutes.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate the enemy base. Then, it's up to you to pull out all the spy tricks in your arsenal to sneak, hide, and dodge the guards as you try to stealthily complete your mission — which could be anything from uncovering a secret or saving the world from a virus to planting a bomb, stealing objects, or hacking a server, jeng jeng jeng!

Make sure to stay alert at all times, spies! Be aware of your surroundings as you progress closer to your mission, as the real-life patrolling guards (a.k.a. the NPCs) will try their best to catch you in action. They could pop up anytime and will make sure your mission doesn't go smoothly. Win or it's game over!

Unleash your creativity as you think up different ways to accomplish your mission, be it hiding and running past the guards at the right timing, or putting on a disguise to camouflage yourself and confidently going right in. You'll have the flexibility to play and beat the game in your own way.

The success of Lost In Karak is what led Breakout to come up with the unique concept of SPY Game, which is the first of its kind in Asia

Through Lost In Karak, Breakout realised the demand for interactivity with NPCs in games. However, they were also well aware that there are many people who are not fans of horror, dislike figuring out puzzles, or prefer more-action based games. And that's exactly why they game up with SPY Game.

With innovation having always been the key to their success, Breakout is pushing forward with this new concept that focuses on in-game NPCs to provide a more immersive experience.

"Breakout is for puzzle lovers and HAUNTU is for the horror fans, but we don't have games for people who aren't fans of both. So, we decided to design something new and unique for them," said Johnny Ong, Head of Experience Design.

Aiming to launch by the end of 2022, you'll be able to find SPY Game at Breakout's brand new location in The Curve, Mutiara Damansara.

That gives you plenty of time to brush up on your spy skills, so you can be a total pro by the time you try it out! ;)
