Craving For Ramly Burger? This Website Can Help You Locate The Nearest Stall In Your Area
Locating mouth-watering burgers has never been easier.
The unassuming and sinfully delicious Ramly burger holds a very special spot in the hearts of many Malaysians
Created in 1979 by Ramly Monkin, the burger is immortalised alongside the likes of nasi lemak, roti canai, and satay in Malaysian food culture.
A typical Ramly Burger consists of a beef or chicken patty, margarine, onions, an egg, cabbage, mayonnaise, Worcester sauce, and chilli sauce.
Cravings for these bad boys normally hit us at ungodly hours. Searching for a burger stall can be pretty troublesome if you're unfamiliar with the area.
Thankfully, there's a new website that helps you find one easily.
Introducing, BurgerKatMane. The website was recently launched by Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) to connect thousands of burger stall operators with potential customers in various areas.
The interactive website has a search function that lets users find nearby burger stalls based on their current location.
“Apart from its business-to-business features, this application is also unique in enabling the general public to be part and parcel of its user-friendly features. Signing up is easily done online for either operator or customer,” UFS Malaysia marketing manager Angeline Ho said in a statement as quoted by New Straits Times.
To use the website, you'll need to register yourself as a diner or a burger operator
After that, a huge map will pop out that displays your general area and pins of nearby burger stalls
Diners can also rate their favourite burgers joints on the app. On the other hand, operators can publicise and post offers to consumers.
According to UFS Malaysia, the burger operator community is estimated to number more than 10,000 stalls nationwide.
