Disney fans sailing through Southeast Asia will soon have another exciting stop to look forward to
Starting 31 December 2026, select four-night sailings aboard Disney Cruise Line's Disney Adventure will include a stop in Langkawi.
The island will be added as a new port of call, giving passengers the chance to spend part of their cruise exploring one of Malaysia's most popular holiday destinations.

Guests can explore Langkawi independently or join a shore excursion
According to CNA, passengers who choose to go ashore will be free to explore the island on their own or book a Disney Cruise Line shore excursion, known as Port Adventures.
From beaches and nature activities to cultural experiences, local crafts, and family-friendly attractions, there's plenty to pack into a day on the island.
Langkawi is also home to Southeast Asia's first UNESCO Global Geopark, offering visitors the chance to explore the geological wonders and natural landscapes that make up the 99-island archipelago.

The cruise will still begin and end in Singapore
Guests also won't be able to embark or permanently disembark in Langkawi.
Instead, the island will serve as a day stop, and passengers heading ashore will need to return to the ship by the designated all-aboard time.
The selected itineraries will continue to include Disney's signature days at sea, while three-night and four-night sailings without a port stop will also remain available.
For now, Langkawi is the only port of call announced for the Disney Adventure.

The first sailing featuring Langkawi will depart on 31 December 2026, meaning passengers can potentially ring in the new year onboard before heading off for an island adventure
Shore excursions for the Langkawi itineraries can be viewed and booked through Disney Cruise Line's website and Navigator app, while selected Port Adventures can also be booked onboard.
