Ming Chun's Gepuklah officially opens today, 14 August, at SS22 in Damansara Jaya.

A queue had already formed outside the restaurant before 10am, suggesting that the hype around the viral ayam gepuk spot is still going strong.

The food project first started as a pop-up earlier this year, quickly gaining attention for its boneless ayam gepuk and seriously long queues.

If you haven't heard of Gepuklah yet, it was founded by content creator and entrepreneur Ming Chun

What makes his ayam gepuk different from others is that it comes with nasi lemak rice instead of the usual plain rice.

The signature Boneless Ayam Gepuk comes with crispy chicken that's already deboned, so you won't have to wrestle with any bones while digging into your sambal.

Ming Chun also previously told SAYS that Gepuklah's sambal uses roasted cashews, giving it a nuttier flavour while adding an extra layer to its usual spicy kick.

And it's not just chicken on the menu. There are also meat-free and vegetable options for those who want something different.

Here's what's on the menu:

  • Boneless Ayam Gepuk — RM19.90
  • Crispy Oyster Mushroom — RM18.90
  • Ham Leng Chat — RM9.90
  • Bayam Goreng — RM6.90
  • Kubis Goreng — RM5.90

The crispy oyster mushroom was already one of the alternatives offered during Gepuklah's pop-up days, alongside options like smoked duck gepuk.
