Planning to dine at Rembayung soon? The restaurant by food influencer Khairul Aming has introduced a new online booking system on Grab to make reserving a table more convenient.

In a video shared on the restaurant's social media yesterday, 2 November, Khairul Aming announced that customers can now book their reservations directly through Grab.

He explained that the restaurant had previously faced issues with scalpers and unauthorised resellers, making it difficult for customers to secure a booking.

To make a reservation, customers can now access the Grab app, select 'Dine Out', tap 'Book A Table', and search for Rembayung

Customers can then select their preferred dining date, time, number of guests, and whether they wish to dine in or order takeaway.

A deposit of RM10 per booking is required. However, Khairul Aming assured customers that the amount will be refunded by deducting it from their final bill.

He also said bookings are non-transferable to prevent scalpers from reselling reservations

Customers must bring the phone used to make the booking and open their Grab app for verification before entering the restaurant.

Screenshots of booking confirmations will not be accepted.

Each verified Grab user is only allowed to make one booking every two weeks.
