22 Local Designers, Runway Shows, And More Are Coming To Alamanda This September

Looking for something to do around Malaysia Day weekend? Alamanda Shopping Centre in Putrajaya is turning its Centre Court into a fashion runway from 10 to 13 September.
The inaugural ADIWARNA RUNWAY, organised together with the Malaysian Official Designers' Association (MODA), will bring together 22 local designers for four days of fashion, shopping, performances, and community activities.
The showcase will kick off with all 22 designers presenting a signature piece made using an exclusive print inspired by the colourful hues of the hibiscus, Malaysia's national flower.
Throughout the four-day event, 16 designers will take to the runway to showcase their latest collections
The lineup includes 3THELABEL, Ariff Atelier, Arlina Ayou, Bill Keith, CARRO, CASALWA, EL by Ellie Lim, HERA, Justin Yap Atelier, NANALYANA, Outdwell, SITI KHADIJAH, Variante, Yani Bakhtiar, Yuleza, and Zayana Yazed Creations.
Expect a mix of contemporary ready-to-wear and modern modest fashion, with collections that incorporate elements of Malaysian culture and design.

There will also be live performances throughout the event by Malaysian artistes including Bunga Isme, Daniel Chuer, Daniesh Suffian, Datuk Syafinaz, Ernie Zakri, Farah Dolhadi, Layla Sania, and Yazmin Aziz.
The event will also feature a Family Fashion Walk, where selected shoppers from Alamanda's mall-wide Model Search will get their own moment on the runway
