Free Water Taxis & Shuttle Buses Will Be Available For Hari Kebangsaan Parade In Putrajaya
These services will help prevent traffic congestion during the festivities.
Planning to join the 2024 Hari Kebangsaan Parade on 31 August?
There will be water taxi services available at five locations in Putrajaya.
According to Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, this complimentary service aims to faciliate movement from parking areas to Dataran Putrajaya, where the parade will be held.
The jetty checkpoints are Marina Putrajaya, Anjung Floria, Putrajaya Lake Club Jetty, Monumen Jetty, and Ayer@8.
Here's the water taxi service schedule:
- Route 1: From Ayer@8, Prescint 8 to Monumen Jetty, Prescint 2 (Frequency: Every 10 minutes)
- Route 2: From Putrajaya Lake Club Jetty, Precinct 8 to Monumen Jetty, Precinct 2 (Frequency: Every 15 minutes)
- Route 3: From Marina Jetty, Precint 5 to Anjung Floria Jetty, Precinct 4 (Frequency: Every 20 minutes)
The taxi service will be available from 5am to 12pm for one day only on Saturday, 31 August.
Putrajaya Corporation will also provide free Nadiputra shuttle buses to ensure smooth travel during Hari Kebangsaan festivities on 31 August
The shuttle buses will operate from 4am to 2pm, in sync with the ERL services, which are also set to begin at 4am, and the MRT Putrajaya Line, which will run for 24 hours on that day.
Three bus routes will be available:
- MSO1: From the lobby of Putrajaya Sentral MRT Terminal (TPS) to Precinct 7 and Jalan Tun Abdul Razak in Precinct 2
- MSO2: From the mezzanine level, main lobby of Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) to Precinct 5 and Jalan P4X in Precinct 4
- MSO3: From the Botanical Garden and Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Promenade Roundabout (PSSAAS) in Precinct 1 to I-Centre, Dataran Putra, in Precinct 1
Over 7,600 parking spaces will be provided for the convenience of the public on the day of the parade, located at the Putrajaya International Convention Center (PICC), the Botanical Garden and Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Promenade Roundabout, and Putrajaya Sentral.
