From 11 May to 7 June, the Grab 5-Star Eats Awards 2025 will be collecting votes to help determine which local restaurants are most loved by Malaysians

As a digital celebration of the best restaurants across the country, you, along with millions of other Malaysians, will be able to show your favourite makan spots some love.

There are six categories celebrating different cuisines, including:

  • Crowd's Favourite Malaysian Food (both Delivery and Dine-out)
  • Crowd's Favourite Western Food (both Delivery and Dine-out)
  • Crowd's Favourite Asian Food (both Delivery and Dine-out)
  • Crowd's Favourite Dessert & Snack (Delivery only)
  • Crowd's Favourite Beverage (Delivery only)
  • Crowd's Favourite Healthy Food (Delivery only)

These categories will include all sorts of F&B restaurants, from your favourite kopitiam to more premium selections.

If you have a spot that you feel doesn't get the recognition it deserves, this is your chance to put them under the spotlight.

There's also a digital food guide built right into the Grab app called Grab 5-Star Eats, launched in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia

This makes it easy for you to discover amazing food restaurants by category and region across Malaysia, each highly rated by millions of Malaysians.

So, whether you're hunting for hidden gems in Klang Valley, planning a food hunt in Penang, or just deciding where to eat for dinner after work, it's all there in one place.

Plus, this initiative is also officially endorsed by Tourism Malaysia for showcasing our rich food culture.
