A new restaurant in 1 Utama Shopping Centre, PJ, has intrigued many locals since it is unlike any conventional food establishment we've seen before

There's no people waiting to serve you and you won't be able to find a cashier at the counter at 'grEAT', which is located on the lower ground floor of the mall.

Everything is done on your phone - from ordering to payment - at this modern-day store that is said to be the first-ever automated restaurant in Malaysia.

Customers can, in fact, place their order from anywhere and collect their food later at their preferred timing

Here, you can place your order using the WeChat app on your smartphone.

Once you are ready, proceed to process the order so that the kitchen can prepare your food in time for you to collect it upon arrival. It is advisable to process the order about five minutes earlier before your arrival.

When the food is ready, you may retrieve it from the vault in the restaurant, which is also used to keep the food warm.

You can then choose to either dine-in at the restaurant or enjoy the meal from the comfort of your home.

That's pretty much the whole process, all of which can be done without interacting with anyone!

The restaurant offers "healthier fast food" that are pork-free, lard-free, and MSG-free

Based on the current menu, customers have the option to choose from rice bowls such as 'Nasi Lemak Bowl' and 'Japanese Sesame Bowl' to burgers such as 'Signature Smoky Burger' and 'Portobello Burger'.

In addition to the rice bowls and burgers, there are also other choices in the menu such as spaghetti and salad.
