It's set to be a super happening festival that you definitely don't want to miss out on, with so much in store. There'll be everything from food, games, and music, to activities related to fashion and beauty, as well as fitness and health.

And the best part is that admission is free!

There's so much to see, do, and experience that you might not be able to finish it all in one day! Here are the festival details you need to know:

Date: 13 January 2018
Location: Setia City Convention Centre, Carpark B, Shah Alam
Time: 8am - 10pm

The festival features a container concept that's imbued with fun, colourful hues to ensure that you'll be able to take gorgeous and totally Instaworthy photos

The second you arrive at Gegaria, you'll be greeted by a giant #GOGEGARIA art installation. Inspired by traditional Malay houses and featuring the colours of Gegaria, this structure will be a constant at all the event locations.

And it's not just something to take photos with, it'll also incorporate the event schedule so you'll be able to refer to it at any time to find out what's going on and decide what to check out next.

There's also gonna be various funky art installations by local artists scattered throughout the festival. Some are based on iconic things that all Malaysians love like teh tarik, old biskut tins, and batik, while others will be more #aesthetic based such as strings of colours, kite hanging and audio colours.

And here are just some of the many things you can look forward to at Gegaria:

1. #Gegaria Zumba

Be part of a fun workout party, led by fitness pros Jessica Ong, Hanif Shawn, and Dayang Domito. And make sure you come early to snag yourself some cool merch. Siapa cepat dia dapat!

2. #Gegaria Makan-Makan (supported by the JJCM app)

There's nothing Malaysians love more than food so come with empty stomachs and prepare to eat all of the yummy food!

Not only will there be various food trucks and stalls offering the best of Malaysian food from all 14 states, there's also going to be food demos by celebrity chefs (Chef Naem and Chef Fikhree), as well as a cookie decorating experience for kids.

3. #Gegaria Throwback Tunnel

Take a walk down memory lane through this one-of-a-kind Malaysian time capsule mini art exhibition and reminisce about the significant highlights of our beloved country, all the way from back during the Merdeka era to now.

4. #Gegaria Community

Gegaria will be hosting a wide variety of activities covering the areas of lifestyle, career, entrepreneurship, games, and CSR. So no matter what you're into, there's definitely something for everyone!

Watch live demos and tutorials on make-up, hijab styling, hair and fashion styling with performances by buskers in between. Local celebrities like Mira Filzah and many more will be there for a sharing session with you!
