IGNITE, powered by Omnia, recent brought Malaysia's marketing and business leaders together for a day of industry insights, storytelling, and conversations

Held at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on 13 August, the event brought together professionals from across the marketing, business, and media industries to exchange ideas and explore changing trends, looking into "what comes next" for the industry.
Rather than focusing on just one aspect, IGNITE covered everything from evolving consumer behaviour and market trends to storytelling and the ways brands can connect with audiences.
One of the key areas discussed was how consumer behaviour and media are changing

Kantar and Idealogic shared insights into evolving consumer behaviours, market trends, and the wider business landscape.
The event also featured Media Prima's Platform Showcase, which highlighted the company's integrated media ecosystem and how brands can reach audiences across different platforms and touchpoints.
Together, the sessions gave attendees a look at some of the changes shaping the way businesses and marketers connect with people.
Beyond industry data and media insights, IGNITE also looked at the more human side of ideas and communication

A storytelling session led by Lauren Joyce explored how ideas, experiences, and human connection can influence the way people approach challenges and opportunities.
The session encouraged attendees to look beyond conventional thinking and consider different ways of approaching their work.
TEDx Bukit Bintang also brought different voices to the stage

The evening wrapped up with TEDx Bukit Bintang's All of Us, which brought together speakers from different backgrounds to share their stories and perspectives.
The session featured Raven Kwok, Amy Blair, Juvita Tatan Wyan, Matthew Ngaru Jadu, Karl Fender, Prof Gerry Bodeker, Mollie Rodgers, Karen Abraham, Faisal Fadzil, and Sarah Whyte.
Their talks explored different experiences and perspectives on what connects people as individuals and as a community.
More than just an industry gathering, the event was designed to spark conversations beyond the day

By combining industry insights with storytelling, media perspectives, and TEDx talks, the event brought together different ways of thinking about the challenges and opportunities facing businesses and marketers today.
It also reflects Omnia's focus on creating platforms where Malaysia's marketing and business communities can connect, exchange ideas, and have conversations that matter.
Ultimately, IGNITE left attendees with a simple message: The next move starts with an idea, but it takes action to turn that idea into something more.
