Bring out your vintage outfits and thrift wears 'cause A&W's latest outlet just opened and it looks absolutely Insta-worthy
Inspired by the 60s through 80s, the new outlet in Petaling Jaya is decked in neon lights, orange bar seats, and booths, unlike any other A&W restaurant in Malaysia
The new branch was built to commemorate A&W's journey since 1963 when it was the first fast-food restaurant to open in the country.
And it's definitely giving us all 'em retro feels!
It even has its own jukebox to bring you tunes from the decades
Nothing quite like sipping on an A&W RB float and enjoying ice cream waffles while funk and other classics play in the background.
If you've always wanted a retro-themed birthday party, this is one place to consider.
It has a private zone that can accommodate up to 20 people for special functions, such as birthday celebrations or parties.
The outlet is located at Seventeen Mall in Section 17, PJ.
If you're dining in, don't forget to wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
To prioritise safety for customers and staff, proper standard operating procedures are practised in the outlet, including regular sanitisation of tables, chairs, buzzers, trays, and door handles.
Sauce sachets are provided as there will be no usage of the sauce counter. If you don't have a mask, surgical masks are also available upon request with a charge of RM1, and all proceeds go to charity.
