*sigh* What can be better than fried chicken and pizza?
If you ask KFC, the answer is combining fried chicken and pizza to create the ultimate mash-up of comfort food - the Chizza.
Behold, the almighty Chizza - featuring a crust made of fried chicken fillet, layered with pizza tomato sauce, chicken ham, pineapple chunks then topped with mozzarella cheese and KFC's signature cheese sauce.
Hence, it's no surprise that people were pretty excited when KFC announced that the Chizza will be making its debut in Singapore
In less than 24 hours since it was posted last night, 7 February at 10.00pm, the Facebook post has already been shared more than 90,000 times with even more comments by those who can't wait to get their hands on the Chizza
That is, until some of them found out that their local KFCs were not even aware of the existence of the Chizza!
Turns out, the Facebook post announcing the launch of the Chizza was also seen by KFC fans from all over the world, some of whom probably missed out on the part where it says "arrived in Singapore"
Feelings were definitely cheated with, but that didn't stop chicken and pizza fans from countries like the US, UK, Australia, and even Malaysia from requesting the Chizza in their local KFCs!
You heard the people, KFC. Just gonna count down the days 'til we get this fried cheesy goodness... ;)
