All Malaysians can definitely agree that our country is a beautiful one, right?
With each of our states having its own unique sights and experiences that it's famous for, there's just so much to do and see throughout the country.
We totally miss going cuti-cuti Malaysia, and since interstate travel is now allowed, we can't wait to go on roadtrips and staycations again, yay!
To help girls spark their wanderlust, as well as support local communities, Kotex has released limited edition travel-themed designs, and they're so cute!
Inspired by a few different Malaysian states, the Teroka Lokal collection showcases the wonderful and diverse scenery Malaysia has to offer, and highlights the unique features of specific states.
This includes the cityscapes of Kuala Lumpur, the heritage sights of Penang, the pristine coast and ocean wildlife of the surrounding islands in Terengganu, as well as the ethnic culture and natural landscapes of Sabah and Sarawak.
Additionally, Kotex has also launched a Teroka Lokal Augmented Reality (AR) filter, which will allow you to immerse yourself in the Teroka Lokal world
The best part about the AR filter is that you'll get to support communities in need just by using the filter!
Dress up in your most creative travel outfit and use the AR filter to explore, then post on Instagram or Facebook and tag @kotexmy. For every post that meets this criteria, Kotex will donate a pack of sanitary pads to communities in need.
This initiative is being carried out in partnership with a local non-governmental organisation (NGO), Pertubuhan Pembangunan Kendiri Wanita dan Gadis (WOMEN:girls).
Radhika Agarwal, Marketing Manager for Kimberly-Clark Malaysia said, "With this collection, we want to spark some joy and reignite the love of exploration, especially after a hard year of being confined to a space for general health and safety"
"We also wanted to give our girls a chance to support their fellow sisters in need. Through our partnership with WOMEN:girls, we want to support 20,000 young girls and women who have been affected by the pandemic.
"We believe that every woman, no matter where they are from, deserves basic access to feminine hygiene products as a necessity, and not as an option," she shared.
