KTM Berhad (KTMB) has just announced dates for its MySawasdee train service from KL Sentral to Hat Yai, Thailand for the rest of the year
The train will operate between KL Sentral and Hat Yai on the following dates:
– 23 October (Friday) to 26 October (Monday)
– 30 October (Friday) to 2 November (Monday)
– 13 November (Friday) to 16 November (Monday)
– 20 November (Friday) to 23 November (Monday)
– 26 November (Thursday) to 29 November (Sunday)
– 11 December (Friday) to 14 December (Monday)
– 17 December (Thursday) to 20 December (Sunday)
– 23 December (Wednesday) to 26 December (Saturday)
A standard one-way ticket costs RM95, while a return trip costs RM190. Alternatively, sleeping berth tickets are available at RM109 for an upper berth and RM119 for a lower berth, one way.
According to KTMB's schedule, the journey between Kuala Lumpur and Hat Yai takes about 13 hours each way
The train will depart KL Sentral at 10.20am Malaysian time and arrive in Hat Yai at around 11.15pm Thailand time.
It will make stops at Sungai Buloh, Ipoh, Taiping, and Padang Besar before arriving at Hat Yai.
For the return journey, the train will leave Hat Yai at 10.20am Thailand time and arrive at KL Sentral at around 11.15pm Malaysian time.
