Even if we don't realise it, many of the brands we use daily are proudly Malaysian
Whether it's footwear, snacks, gaming furniture, home accessories, or car accessories, local brands make up a large part of our daily consumption.
And this National month, Lazada's 9.9 Sale is set to give shoppers more reasons to support local brands!

In collaboration with the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) and in support of the refreshed JOM MALAYSIA initiative, the sale will feature deals from local brands across LazMall, with loads of extra perks in store.
Here are six Malaysian brands to check out during the Lazada 9.9 Sale:
1. Dr. Cardin

Dr. Cardin is a brand you might easily assume to be European. But in fact, the brand is actually homegrown, having started in Malaysia in 1989.
It first became known for men's footwear, including the dependable formal shoes that have probably seen their fair share of office meetings and family functions.
Over the years, Dr. Cardin has expanded beyond dress shoes into more casual styles, including sneakers, flats and bags.
A few picks to check out:
- Drift Ballet 3.0: A refreshed take on a familiar Dr Cardin favourite, with double cushioning, an adjustable strap and new colourways. Selected variants also use water-resistant suede.
- Angular Tote Bag: A three-way carry bag with a spacious interior, dedicated laptop compartment, bottle pockets and an adjustable strap for workdays and weekends.
- Core Origin Sneakers: Sporty without looking overly athletic, these everyday sneakers pair muted colourways with an elevated outsole and cushioned insole.
2. Signature Market

Before its snack packs became familiar sights in office drawers and home pantries, Signature Market began with founders Edwin Wang and John Cheng in 2014.
Their aim was to make healthier food more accessible and affordable, starting with products such as nuts, dried fruits and trail mixes before expanding further into wellness and physical retail.
Some options for your snack drawer:
- 3x Omega-3 Trail Mix Bulk Pack: Three 450g packs in one listing, making this a practical bulk option for regular snackers or a shared home or office pantry.
- 12th Anniversary "Let Go" Omega-3 Trail Mix Daily Pack: A special anniversary edition with ten individually packed 25g sachets that are easy to stash in a work bag or desk drawer.
- 12th Anniversary "Flow" Low Carb Mix Daily Pack: Ten 25g sachets containing walnuts, almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. According to the listing, the mix has no added sugar and is JAKIM halal-certified.
3. TTRacing

TTRacing's story began in Ipoh in 2017, when avid gamer Henry Ting launched the brand with a focus on ergonomic chairs that balanced comfort, design and accessible pricing.
It has since expanded into markets including Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia and the US, while its products have found an audience beyond gaming among remote workers, creatives and anyone spending a lot of time at a desk.
Picks to refresh your space:
- TT AIRFLEX V2 Ergochair: A breathable mesh ergonomic chair designed for work, study and home-office setups, available in Graphite Black, Ashy Grey and Minty Green.
- Titus X Smart Desk: A height-adjustable desk for sitting or standing, available in four widths from 1.2m to 1.8m and finishes including Walnut and Oak.
- Maxx Pro Ergonomic Gaming Chair: A premium option with adjustable 5D armrests, an extendable leg rest and several leatherette and fabric finishes.
4. KHIND

KHIND's beginnings go all the way back to 1961, when founder Cheng King Fa started repairing electrical appliances from half a shop lot in Sekinchan using a table and simple tools.
From there, the business grew into a Malaysian appliance company whose products eventually reached more than 58 countries.
Back home, its fans, cooking appliances and other household essentials have become familiar enough that it's easy to overlook the local story behind the name.
Check out these online exclusives:
- 40L Electric Oven OT4030: An online-exclusive countertop oven with a roomy 40-litre capacity for baking, roasting and preparing larger meals.
- 28L Electric Oven OT2800: A more compact online-exclusive option for smaller kitchens and everyday cooking, with a five-star energy-saving rating stated in the listing.
- 20L Microwave Oven MW2001D: A compact microwave for reheating, defrosting and simple food prep, particularly handy where counter space is limited.
- Aero Series 14-inch Adjustable Living Fan or Wall Fan: Available as either an adjustable-height living fan or wall-mounted model to suit different room layouts.
5. Trapo

Brothers Tzong and Zare Lee started TRAPO in 2016 with an unusual idea: turning discarded industrial material into automotive products.
The Malaysian company built its name around antibacterial car mats before expanding into wipers, dashcams and other car accessories.
It's a fittingly local product story considering how much time many of us spend in our cars, from the daily commute to the balik kampung drive.
A few useful additions for your car:
- Custom Car Mat for Popular Perodua Models: Made to fit a wide range of Perodua vehicles, with ECO, Classic and HEX configurations plus different coverage options.
- Hydrophobic or Silent Wiper Blades for Proton Models: Front wiper sets with model- and year-specific options covering vehicles including the Saga, Persona, Iriz, X50, X70, X90 and S70.
- i-Sight S650+ 4K Dual-Channel Dashcam: A new-launch dashcam with front-and-cabin coverage and several packages covering different storage and installation setups. The 4K and free-installation details are claims from the listing.
6. Case Valker

Case Valker started online in Malaysia in 2016, focusing on practical travel gear and becoming an early local mover in lightweight, durable polypropylene luggage.
It later made the jump from online shopping carts to physical stores across the Klang Valley.
Check out these gear options for your next trip:
- EVE2 PC Hard Case Expandable Luggage: An expandable hard-shell suitcase with a TSA lock, available in 20-, 24- and 28-inch sizes and colours ranging from Sandy Pink to Golden Mustard.
- Signature Thena Unbreakable PP Expandable Luggage: A polypropylene option with expandable storage, a TSA lock and three sizes. "Unbreakable" is the brand's own product claim.
