The Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup 2026 is taking over The Hood from 9 to 13 September
If you've been watching pickleball go from a niche weekend activity to one of the fastest-growing sports around, September is a pretty good time to see what the hype looks like up close.
The Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup 2026 will be held at The Hood in Kuala Lumpur from 9 to 13 September, bringing five days of Professional Pickleball Association Asia (PPA Asia) Tour action to Malaysia.
Media Prima is the official media partner of the tournament, which will showcase some of the world's top pickleball players.
But there's more than just what's happening on court, with Pickletown also taking over the venue
In case you didn't know, Pickletown is an interactive off-court fan village featured at PPA Tour Asia events. It will be running throughout the five-day event, with food, games, giveaways, and exclusive tournament merchandise for fans to check out between matches.
As for tickets, there are several options depending on whether you're planning a quick visit or already know you'll want the full five-day experience.
Here's a look at the different passes available:
1. Dinker GA Season Pass — All Five Days
For the pickleball-obsessed, the Dinker GA Season Pass gets you general seating and access to Pickletown across all five days, with re-entry throughout the event.
Basically, if you don't want to risk missing a single dink, this is the pass for you.
2. Banger & Dinker GA — Single Day
Want to catch the action for just one day? Banger tickets give you access to the GA Left Stand, located directly behind the players, while Dinker tickets get you into the GA Right Stand.
Both give you the chance to experience the intensity of the game up close, from player walkouts to timeouts and everything in between.
3. VIP Pass
If you're looking for the baller experience, the VIP Pass comes with reserved seating and prime-time views of the pickleball action. You'll also have access to the VIP Lounge, where complimentary food and beverages will be available between matches. VIPs will also get opportunities to meet the pros during special meet-and-greet sessions.
4. Premium Courtside Pass
For the ultimate front-row experience, the Premium Courtside Pass puts you right next to the action on Championship Court.
The pass includes VIP Lounge access with complimentary food and beverages, pro meet-and-greet opportunities, priority entry gates, and an Official Tournament Merch Pack worth over RM2,000.
Courtside spots are limited, so you'll want to get yours early.
