The Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT3) Shah Alam Line will open to the public next Monday, 29 June, connecting millions of Malaysians to more destinations through an expanded public transport network

According to the New Straits Times, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will officiate the launch on Sunday, 28 June, marking the significant milestone for the 37.8km line's connectivity.

The new line has a capacity of 18,630 passengers per hour per direction, with three-car train sets providing accessible entry from end to end.

During its initial launch, trains will operate at a six-minute frequency during peak hours, with an operational speed of up to 80km/h.

The line will feature 20 stations in total, including two interchange stations connecting passengers to the Kajang and Kelana Jaya lines.
