On 3 October, the inaugural New Dawn MY fight night is coming to Pavilion Arena at Pavilion Damansara Heights
If you didn't know yet, SCL is a fighting event where humanoid robots go head-to-head in a live combat league.
SCL describes its 'Shadows' as the humanoid robots taking part in the fights, while the humans controlling them are known as 'Pilots'
During a fight, the Pilot's movements are captured and translated to the Shadow, meaning there is a person actively controlling the machine throughout the bout.
So, rather than watching two autonomous machines make their own decisions, audiences are watching human Pilots compete through humanoid robots.
Its longer-term goal is to build a championship where robotics manufacturers enter their own Shadows alongside professional Pilots and compete against one another across a season.

The idea is to make the league a proving ground for humanoid robotics, with the movement data generated through real-world competition also feeding into robotics development.
SCL is built by LINEARK, a robotics and AI company developing an operating platform for embodied intelligence, with the aim of making humanoid robots easier to deploy, integrate, and operate in the real world.
The event will feature four preliminary fights followed by three main fights, with the main event being the Icon Belt Championship fight between Abdu Rozik and Amelia Henderson
It will be held at Pavilion Arena, located within Pavilion Damansara Heights on 3 October, from 6pm to 10pm.
