We all know that January is the free trial month and doesn't really count. That's why the months to come is when you actually turn those resolutions into reality : P

Here are some tips to help keep your resolutions fresh this 2020:

1. Set a goal to keep track of your progress

New years and resolutions go hand in hand. But resolutions are so vague and can feel intangible. So instead, you can try setting a goal for yourself. That way, you can keep track of your progress and keep yourself motivated at the same time!

2. Stick to your resolution by keeping yourself motivated

Making resolutions can be easy but everyone knows that it's sticking to it that's difficult. It takes a lot of effort and dedication to meet your goals. According to Blink from Goldfish & Blink, one way to keep to your resolution is by keeping yourself motivated. 

He uses his previous success to constantly push himself to do better. So the next time you feel demotivated, remember to always challenge yourself. You don't always have to be the best but you can certainly be better than before.  

3. Change things up every now and then to keep things interesting

Resolutions are thrilling, especially in the first few weeks when you're still motivated and driven. But after some time, routine starts to set in and things can start to feel a little boring. Germaine Yap, professional Muay Thai fighter and instructor, believes that the key to maintaining your resolution throughout the year is to keep things interesting. 

The biggest enemy for progress is fear. So we shouldn't be afraid to try new things. Who knows, maybe what's scary to you today might be something you love tomorrow.

4. Don't be too hard on yourself and give yourself a second chance

According to Wai Hong from the DJ duo BATE, the most important thing about giving yourself a second chance is that you should never give up! If you ever find yourself down in the dumps, lift yourself right back up and start again because slow progress is still better than no progress at all.

The other half of the BATE DJ duo, Ethan Curzon also said that it's never too late to come up with a resolution. Resolutions shouldn't be exclusive to the month of January so he decided to make his resolution in February instead! His goal is to inspire others around him and you can too, starting from now, literally!
