If your idea of a good night out involves Korean beats, dancing, and singing along, there's a new club to check out in TREC KL
Founded in Gangnam, Seoul, in 2017, MUIN KL has arrived in the capital city, bringing Korean club sounds and signature red interiors, along with a traditional Korean palace-style roof.
The brand became a popular nightlife spot in Bangkok after expanding there in 2023, with Tokyo next on the list in 2027. Now, its KL outlet is bringing a taste of that experience closer to home.
MUIN's music takes its cue from Korea's club scene, with Korean hip-hop and energetic DJ sets forming part of the experience.
For those who want to hear their favourite K-pop tracks, every Thursday is dedicated to K-pop, with the Korean DJ team taking over the decks.
MUIN features a strong lineup of Korean DJs, including Onsemiro, Seorin, Moai, Tazz, Pnutz, Hoya, and Over B. Its Seoul Takeover nights also bring six DJs from Seoul together for back-to-back sets.
On the KL lineup, Amber Na headlined the club's soft launch, with local DJs and in-house residents joining the mix. Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for headline nights featuring Seoul and KL talent.
Below are the themes clubbers can expect:
- Wednesday: Baddies Night, the midweek night for the girls
- Thursday: K-Pop Night, your favourite K-pop hits on repeat, led by the Korean DJ team, and a floor that sings every word
- Friday and Saturday: Headline Nights, featuring Seoul and KL DJs on the biggest nights of the week
- Seoul Takeover: A night of six DJs from Seoul, back to back
- Holiday Eves and Special Weekends: Public holiday eve parties and guest DJ nights, with the holiday season through Christmas, New Year's Eve, and more

The interiors bring together Korean heritage and a whole lot of red
MUIN describes its concept as "a cultural space built on oriental minimalism, where music and dance meet art, design, and fashion."
That influence carries through to its KL branch, where a traditional Korean palace roof frames the entrance. Inside, the room is bathed in deep red, with a suspended LED lightbox above the dance floor and neon tubes running across the ceiling.
Moving beams cut through the haze as the lighting changes with the music, while the glowing MUIN sign sits above the DJ booth.
MUIN KL opens Wednesday to Saturday, from 11pm to 5am. You can check out @muin_kl on Instagram for the latest DJ lineups.
Address: Electric Boulevard, TREC KL, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.
