There's a new concert venue in PJ, and it's already lined up its first major event
Inspire Live Arena, a new multi-functional indoor event space, has opened on Level 3A of IOI Mall Damansara.
The venue's first announced event is Idol Radio Live in Kuala Lumpur, which is happening this October.
Idol Radio is a K-pop-focused radio programme by South Korean broadcaster MBC, featuring idol interviews, games, and live performances.
For now, we know that Idol Radio Live will take place on 3 October 2026 at Inspire Live Arena. Organisers iMe Malaysia have teased that the artiste lineup will be announced at a later date, so K-pop fans will have to keep their eyes peeled.
The new venue can accommodate up to 5,000 people, with both seated and standing configurations available
Managed by the team behind Idea Live Arena, the space is designed to host a range of events, including concerts, live performances, exhibitions, festivals, and product launches.
The space also has retractable seating, allowing its layout to be changed depending on the event.
For concerts, there's a large LED screen behind the stage, as well as two side screens for the audience.
And since it's located inside IOI Mall Damansara, there's also the added convenience of having plenty of food and shops nearby before or after an event.

It's also directly connected to Surian MRT Station on the Kajang Line, so you can get to the venue without having to drive.
