Let's be real, Malaysians love keeping up with what's trending online
From celebrities and content creators to songs we can't stop listening to, there's always someone or something getting people talking.
And now, OhBulan! Paling Viral Online is back for its second edition this November, giving you another chance to vote for your favourites across nine categories
This time, there are four new categories to look forward to: Pelakon Paling Viral, Penyanyi Gen Z Paling Viral, Peniaga Paling Viral, and Nepo Baby Paling Viral.
So, whether you're a fan of a young singer, love following a local entrepreneur, or want to see your favourite actor get recognised, there's plenty to look out for this year.
If you followed the first edition, you'll also want to keep an eye on the five categories that are making a comeback:
- Content Creator Paling Viral
- Filem Paling Viral
- Drama Paling Viral
- Lagu Paling HOT
- Kelab Peminat Paling Viral
According to OhBulan! Editorial Content Lead Noor Zulaikha Yusof, the encouraging response to the first edition inspired the team to bring the awards back.
"Following the encouraging response to our first edition, we wanted to continue OhBulan! Paling Viral Online 2.0 to recognize celebrities, content creators, entrepreneurs, songs, and dramas that have captured public attention," she said.
She added that the new categories would give more people a chance to be recognised while celebrating the fans who continue to support their favourites.
"We introduced four new categories to give more individuals the chance to be recognized, while keeping a special category dedicated to fans to appreciate their continued support.
"We believe that with everyone's backing, this edition will make an even greater impact," she added.
Voting will happen in two phases: The Top 15 and the Top 5
The Top 15 phase runs from 2 November to 1 December 2026. During this period, your votes will help determine which 15 nominees in each category advance to the next round.
Then, the Top 5 phase will run from 7 December 2026 to 8 January 2027, when fans can vote for their preferred nominees as the competition moves towards the final results.
The best part? You can cast up to 50 votes per day throughout the voting period, so don't forget to support your favourites!
The winners will be announced during a live broadcast on OhBulan!'s official TikTok account on 15 January 2027 at 9pm.
