People Are Just Finding Out That Pei Pa Koa Can Be Taken Diluted
How have you been ingesting it?
'Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa' is a centuries-old traditional herbal remedy for coughs and sore throats.
However, some people have been only recently discovering how you're "supposed" to ingest it.
Instead of taking it straight up on a spoon as you would a typical cough mixture, the instructions actually state that you can also dilute it in water and have it as a drink.
Twitter user @fuwaffy recently made a poll asking the Internet if they knew this and thousands of people expressed that this was the first time they'd heard it.
Although several people did say that they had been taking it diluted all these years, many were surprised by the fact they had not known
A quick check on Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa's website reveals that there are actually three ways you can ingest the oral liquid
The first way is to take a tablespoonful or more. However, the instructions state that you can also "put it in [your] mouth and swallow slowly" or "dilute it in warm water".
There's even an advertisement showing how to take it.
So, there's no "right or wrong" way, so to speak.
Whether you've been eating it on a spoon or mixing it with water and drinking it, both ways are correct!
