As for food, don't miss out on Café Mesra's nasi lemak bungkus, wrapped in pretty batik-printed paper.
Aside from their barista-quality coffee, Café Mesra also serves an array of hearty food options, including their cutely-wrapped nasi lemak, freshly baked pastries, and even savoury snacks. Plus, Café Mesra's 'Say Heart' is definitely the go-to space for ready-to-drink and ready-to-eat products.
From their homemade ikan bilis sambal to assortment of pastries, everything is made fresh and localised to suit customers' tastebuds. Featuring local vendors, PETRONAS Café Mesra believes in supporting our local community and economy.
According to Ian Malcolm Cruddas, CEO of Mesra Retail & Café, the brand aims to make a positive difference, "one cup and one bag at a time".
"At PETRONAS Café Mesra, we are more than just a convenience store. It's a go-to place for quality on-the-go items that cater to the needs and preferences of our customers. We also care about the environment and the community we serve, which is why we use biodegradable and plant-based packaging for all our products," he added.
In addition, the CEO shared a quote that has been with the company since the pandemic, and printed on all Café Mesra takeaway packaging — "You had me at coffee".
"It's inspired by the famous line 'You had me at hello' from the movie Jerry Maguire, which means to feel a strong attraction or admiration for someone after the first greeting. Similarly, I imagine our customers feeling a strong affirmation and motivation to start their day great, after having their morning coffee at Café Mesra," shared Ian.
