Malaysia Day is coming up, and Pos Malaysia is giving us a new reason to get excited about stamps

The national post and parcel service provider has teamed up with Malaysian brand APOM for 'A Tapestry of Malaysia', a special stamp collection featuring 14 original designs inspired by Malaysia's 13 states and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

Inspired by APOM's #empatbelas initiative, the collection brings together illustrations celebrating the culture, heritage, landmarks, traditions, and everyday moments that make each state and territory uniquely its own.

The 14 designs take us on a colourful little trip across the country, with each one highlighting something associated with its respective state or territory

There's Johor's heritage architecture, Kedah's paddy fields, Kelantan's wayang kulit, Melaka's layered history, and Negeri Sembilan's Tarian Lilin.

Meanwhile, Pahang's natural landscapes, Penang's everyday harmony, Perak's nostalgic icons, and Perlis' Angin Timur also get their moment in the spotlight.

The collection also features Sabah's biodiversity, Sarawak's cultural motifs, Selangor's mosque architecture, Terengganu's Wau Dodo Helang, and, of course, Kuala Lumpur's urban landmarks.
