Over the past few weeks, Malaysians have been sharing how they make every ringgit count through the Sara Cara Kita contest
Open to recipients of Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA), the campaign invited participants to submit short videos showing how they used their one-off RM100 SARA assistance to support their households. From stocking up on daily essentials and planning grocery purchases to finding creative ways to stretch their budget, the entries highlighted the practical decisions many Malaysians make every day.
Participants were evaluated based on the creativity, practicality, and meaningful ways they made use of their SARA assistance
Judges also looked at how effectively each submission conveyed the participant's experience, highlighting stories of smart spending, careful planning, and supporting loved ones with the resources available.
And now, it's time for the moment everyone's been waiting for!
Meet the top winners:
The judging panel selected winners from both Instagram and TikTok submissions, recognising participants who demonstrated creativity, practicality, and meaningful use of their SARA assistance.
First Prize (RM5,000 Each)
