Eastspring Investments Berhad recently released a heartfelt short film, telling the story of an estranged father and daughter
Centred around the line 'Family is all', this short film dives into the touching story between a father and his daughter, Aini, who dreams of pursuing her studies in music school.
Directed by award-winning local film maker, Paul Gan, the four-minute video tugs at the heartstrings. You'll definitely be able to relate to themes of love and sacrifice, as well as the tension that sometimes exists in family relationships.
All in all, Eastspring Investments Berhad wants Malaysians to know that they are always there to help ease your financial concerns, allowing you to focus on what's most important in life — having more time for your family and loved ones.

The video starts off by showing all the good memories that Aini had of her dad growing up
From a young age, Aini had a flair for music, and her dad was her biggest supporter, always there for every recital to cheer her on.
However, overnight, things changed. When her dad left home, she felt sad, betrayed, and frustrated.
At that time, Aini didn't understand why her dad had to leave. Furthermore, none of his gestures could reach her, whether it was through phone calls or post cards.
What Aini didn't know was that the reason her dad left was so that she could have a better future. But when she finally realises her mistake, it seems like it might be too late.
The video reveals that Aini's dad had been working overseas all these years to save up enough money for her to achieve her childhood dream of pursuing music.
However, when she finds out, her dad is already critically ill in the hospital.
If there's one thing to take away from this story, it's that 'Family is all', and that we should cherish every moment we have with loved ones
