Love badminton but want a lil' extra challenge?

A new glow-in-the-dark badminton hall just opened and it's the first of its kind in Malaysia!

The courts glow, the racquets glow, and even the shuttlecocks glow too

It's like playing badminton in a galactic universe.

Special sports equipment, like custom-made racquets and shuttlecocks, are provided. All you'll need to do is grab your best buddies for a game that'll be sure to test and heighten your senses.

Shuttle In The Dark is located in the Twin Towers Fitness Centre in Petronas Twin Towers

Rates are RM180/hour and a maximum of eight people are allowed to play per session. Four special racquets and two shuttlecocks designed to illuminate in the dark are included in the package.

If you want, you may bring along your own racquets (preferably neon-coloured ones).

Players are also advised to wear fluorescent or white attire. Optionally, there are exclusive 'Shuttle In The Dark' jerseys on sale at the centre.

To book or find out more info, check out their website, Facebook, and Instagram.

Speaking of unconventional badminton, this wet version in Redang lets you play the sport on water:
