Nintendo fans in Malaysia finally have a place to get their hands on official Nintendo merchandise without having to travel overseas

The Nintendo Pop-Up Store officially opened on 12 September at Ombak KLCC, right next to Malaysia's first-ever Pokémon Center pop-up store.

The limited-time store will be around until 31 December 2026, giving fans a few months to browse its selection of Nintendo goodies, pick up some games, and even get hands-on with the Nintendo Switch 2.

You can shop merch from some of Nintendo's biggest franchises

The pop-up carries official Nintendo merchandise from several popular game franchises, including The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Kirby, and Splatoon.

There's a mix of character goods and lifestyle items, including products sourced from Japan as well as newer releases.

Fans can also look out for exclusive Mario-themed merchandise created for the Malaysia pop-up.

The pop-up also sells the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, along with a selection of Nintendo games

Not sure whether the Switch 2 is worth the upgrade? You can actually try it out at the pop-up.

A Nintendo Switch 2 experience zone lets visitors play and test out the console, making the store more than just a shopping stop.

And since the Nintendo pop-up is right beside the Pokémon Center, you can easily check out both stores in one trip

Just a heads-up: the opening weekend saw strong crowds around the Pokémon Center, so it's worth planning your visit accordingly.
