Many students dream of getting accepted into a prestigious university and the chance of studying abroad.

However, the journey to get there isn't always so straightforward.

Pre-university courses serve as a vital bridge for students looking to enter prestigious institutions worldwide, but academics is just part of the equation.

While academic reputation is typically prioritised when choosing pre-university courses, it is essential to acknowledge that a robust pastoral care system serves as the cornerstone of student success.

Whether it's through practical help in preparing for uni application, or guidance from lecturers regarding what course to pursue, a pastoral care system reassures students they're not alone on their journey. Through comprehensive support, this system empowers students to pursue their educational aspirations and align their choice of institution with their interests and passions.

"My experience at The University of Sydney has been a testament to the profound impact of pastoral care in shaping my academic and personal journey. I am grateful for the support I received during my pre-university years at Taylor's College.

"Transitioning to The University of Sydney was not without its challenges, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic when most of my studies at Taylor's College were conducted online.
