After three years of virtual competitions, The One Academy (TOA)'s annual Malaysia Top 10 Outstanding Young Artists Awards (MT10) returned as a physical event this year

MT10 is the largest art competition in Malaysia, and this year marks its 26th edition. It kickstarted in May this year, with secondary school students aged 14 to 18 from 11 cities across Selangor, Penang, Perak, Johor, Sabah, and Sarawak as participants.

The final leg of the competition took place over three days (22, 23, and 29 July) at TOA's main campus in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya.

Continuing its tradition of collaborating with Disney Pixar, the theme for this year's MT10 was based on the movie Elemental

This year's competition highlighted the importance of embracing and celebrating diversity, encouraging participants to express their creativity on the beauty of differences using traditional art mediums, such as watercolour, colour pencils, gouache, oil pastel, acrylic paints, pencil sketch, and ink.

Over RM830,000 worth of scholarships and cash prizes were given away this year

In fact, this year's competition gave away 40% more in scholarship prizes and saw more participants and winners.
