Have you ever wanted to visit these brightly-coloured beach huts along Brighton Beach in Melbourne, Australia?

Well, we have our very own version right here in Malaysia and they're extra colourful!

Situated against a serene mountainous backdrop is Culvert View - a lodge right in the heart of Kundasang, Sabah

Kundasang is the closest town to Mount Kinabalu, so you can expect to wake up to gorgeous panoramic views of the green landscape every morning.

Aside from their rainbow chalets and painted huts, Culvert View boasts a number of Insta-worthy spots

You can take in the fresh air while striking a pose on the stairway to heaven or walking along the multi-coloured walkway.

Can't make your way to Kuala Selangor? Not to worry, Culvert View has their own sky mirror where you can capture yourself with the best views of the surrounding scenery.

Or swing off into the sunset in these comfy swings.

If you're only in the area for a day, you can also opt for a stopover at the picturesque site by paying an entrance fee of RM10 for adults and RM6 for children ages five and up.

Enjoy a steamboat or barbecue feast with your family and friends while relaxing on the deck and marvelling at the view

A barbecue grill and steamboat stove can be borrowed for free!

Guests can buy groceries from a nearby shop, Kundasang Bataras Superstore.

An hour's drive away from the lodge is Desa Cattle Dairy Farm, where you can visit some cows and taste their delicious dairy products

There, you'll get to try homemade gelato, yoghurt, cheese, and of course, fresh milk!
