Local Videographers Get Creative And Bag RM35,000 In Cash Prizes
Kudos to all the winners! :D
ICYMI, Gamuda Land and SAYS recently partnered to run the first ever Through Your Lens 2022 Videography Contest, woohoo!
If it sounds familiar, it's because Gamuda Land previously ran a few editions of Through Your Lens photography contests.
But what makes the latest edition extra special is that Gamuda Land got videographers to visit their townships and come up with a creative one-minute video to share "what a home means to them".
And the video submissions were stunning, to say the least!
Close to 200 participants joined the contest, visiting townships like Gamuda Gardens, Gamuda Cove, twentyfive.7, and Jade Hills to capture scenic videos and express what a home meant to them
Through the contest, Gamuda Land and SAYS hoped to spark creativity among local videographers, while finding out what Malaysians are really looking for in a home.
The contest culminated in a prize-giving ceremony at Gamuda Cove Discovery Park (Beach Pool Club) on 14 January, where a total of 18 participants witnessed the unveiling of the top video submissions.
All 15 consolation prize winners walked home with RM1,000 cash each, while the top three winners bagged RM3,000, RM5,000, and RM12,000 respectively, woah! :O
First, you'll wanna grab some tissues before watching this heartfelt story of a loving couple, which won the second runner-up prize <3
Coming in as the first runner-up, this cute video narrated by a little kid will definitely bring a smile to your face!
And lastly, the grand prize winning video, submitted by Instagram user @jialejl, showcased the beauty and greenery of Gamuda Land's townships — all through creative visual effects and storytelling
These were just some of the top handpicked video submissions, with many more impressive ones as well.
All in all, Gamuda Land and SAYS want to congratulate the winners and commend every participant for your creative entries!
