Tropicana Gardens Mall Is Now Called IOI Mall Damansara
In case you missed the news.
Big news for mall-goers in Petaling Jaya. Tropicana Gardens Mall has officially rebranded and is now known as IOI Mall Damansara.
The name change was unveiled last month with updated signage and a video announcement.
There's also a significant policy update — pets are no longer allowed inside the mall starting this month.
However, lifts near the Just Pets Megastore remain accessible for pet-related services.
Other reported changes include free parking for the first three hours and the removal of glass panels on the walkway to the Surian MRT station.
This rebranding is part of IOI Properties Group's strategy to bring all its malls under the "IOI Mall" umbrella
With this move, IOI Mall Damansara joins the family of IOI-branded malls across Malaysia, such as IOI City Mall in Putrajaya and IOI Mall Puchong.
IOI Properties Group Berhad acquired Tropicana Gardens Mall for RM680 million in July 2024.
"We believe it will provide a strong recurring income as it follows the successful model of IOI Malls and leverages on its brand in providing a vibrant lifestyle experience filled with dynamic offerings," said the company's group chief executive Lee Yeow Seng.
Despite the name change, IOI Mall Damansara continues to offer a variety of attractions, including retail stores like H&M, Village Grocer, Daiso, dining options, and entertainment venues like Golden Screen Cinemas and Loud Speaker family karaoke
The mall is also still directly connected to the Surian MRT station, making it easily accessible for those who use public transport.
