ATAS VILLA is one of the latest homestay accommodations to hit the scene in Melaka. Featuring a unique ensemble of modern architecture and amenities, this exclusive sojourn spans across 20,000 square feet of land.
Specifically named "ATAS" for the colloquial uniqueness that represents the Malaysian equivalent of luxurious, the villa seems to match its description for opulence and affluence.
Just as chic as the exterior, the common rooms of the home embrace minimalism without looking drab or uninteresting
The interior of the living room is contemporary in nature.
With subtle elements such as the sandstone orange couch and flatscreen television, the centralised air conditioning system ties the entire parlour together for a stylish, yet cosy environment to kick back and watch a movie, or spend the afternoon chatting away.
Hidden behind a wall that separates the dining table and the living room is a sleek and functional piano.
The refectory dining table on the other hand seats up to 14 individuals. With sophisticated light fixtures and distinguished furniture elements such as the velvet pebble grey dining chairs, the clean-cut layout makes this place a dream for dinner parties.
The kitchen is situated towards the back of the villa. Among some of the amenities provided are a stove, refrigerator, two separate sinks, and multiple options of Tupperware so you can cook up a storm.
There's also a side kitchen island for you to place the food buffet-style, or even use as a small breakfast table in the morning for some coffee or tea.

ATAS VILLA has a whopping total of six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. While the layout of each bedroom differs from one to the other, most of them contain two queen-sized beds, while another has eight single beds.
The most luxurious of the lot would have to be the master bedroom, which possesses a king-sized bed with a direct view of the garden.
As for the seven bathrooms, basic provisions are provided in case you leave any back home.
Each guest in attendance will receive one bath towel, while each room has a provisional amount of toothbrushes and face towels. Every bathroom in the house also has a hairdryer.
If you need some entertainment and don't wanna leave the house, strike up a friendly game of pool or play a round of FIFA on their PS4
Shouldering the dining area is a room with a sliding door that contains a pool table, just in case you wanna shoot a friendly game of billiard with some of your friends.
If using a long stick isn't your thing, try playing a game of darts, with a dartboard just outside the room containing the pool table.
And if you have a FIFA itch that you need to scratch, look no further! The villa has a game room with a flatscreen television and floor sofas to get comfortable.
While a PS4 console is provided, there's no stipulation as to whether any games are supplied either. Bring your own just to be safe, or enquire from the hosts before you arrive.
For the social butterflies that need to have a day outside, the garden is more than just a large patch of grass for thousands of square metres
The biggest attraction at this sojourn has to be their private swimming pool, that also has a jacuzzi!
With multiple lounge chairs to soak up some sun and bask in the afternoon heat, those who want some fresh air without getting a sun-kissed tan can opt to lay back in the beach cabana with a good book instead.
Just around the corner at the back of the pool is the barbecue pit if cooking in the kitchen indoors isn't your thing.
An outdoor table is located near the pit as well, so you won't have to travel back and forth from the kitchen if your plan is to toss some meat on the barbie.
But one of the best parts of the villa is the designated 'photo spot' in the backyard, which is a transparent bubble house.
Unique and full of character, the little structure not only has a door, but even a propped-up window. Play house for a day, or if you have little kids, let them run free with their colourful imagination.
