Love Burgers? MyBurgerLab's All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Is Where Your Dreams Are Made Of
On that day, we sprouted an extra stomach. :p
Contrary to popular belief, girls can indeed eat a lot. Just ask our writers Lee Yee and Samantha, who took on the challenge of stuffing as many burgers into their tummies as they can at the myBurgerLab Burger Addict Party 2.0!
We're too shy to show our real faces, so we give you the next best thing - our Instagram handles. :p
Held last Sunday (13 December), this is the burger joint's 2nd time hosting an all-you-can-eat burger buffet, with burger fans having the opportunity to try out several different flavours in one sitting AND enjoy a freeflow of fries, brownies, and soft drinks!
According to myBurgerLab's co-founder Teoh Wee Kiat, the idea for a burger buffet stemmed from the desire to try out something new for the burger joint. He also divulged that this might just become a monthly event, so do keep a look out for future announcements on myBurgerLab's Facebook page!
Don't worry about ending up with cold, soggy pre-made burgers and fries that come from conventional buffet lines. At myBurgerLab, your burgers will only be made once you've filled in the order sheet, so you can be sure that your food arrives nice and hot!
How it works: Once you've filled in your order sheet, you are required to snap a photo of the order sheet and send it via WhatsApp. Orders are done in rounds, with a limit of 2 mini burgers or 1 full-sized burgers per person each round. You can immediately place your next round of order when your food is delivered.
Now, on to Round 1! To start off, we ordered a mix of 4 mini burgers - Hangover, Jammin' with Elvis (who knew peanut butter and jam goes so well with beef patties?!), A-Plus, and the ever potent Stinkbomb 2.0 - with a side of fries and Umami mashed potatoes.
4 mini burgers and a ton of carbs look like a lot of food, but we polished them off anyway. In our defence, they were delicious burgers okay! At this point, we were 30% sure that we could get through Round 2, so that's what we did...
We totally finished them off you guys. Bow down before the power of our stomachs.
You know how cows have 4 stomachs in their digestive system? We believe that humans have one main stomach... and one more especially for dessert because being stuffed full with burgers didn't stop us from finishing the chocolate and green tea brownies!
