Here's What To Expect At Malaysia's Largest Cat Expo Happening In KL This Weekend

Cat lovers unite 'cause Ekspo Kucing is back and it's happening this weekend in KL!
Ekspo Kucing, known as Malaysia's largest cat exhibition, will take place at MATRADE Exhibition and Convention Centre from 30 September until 2 October.
1. Adoption drive
Adopting is always better than shopping. There will be adoption booths set up if you would like take a furry friend home and shower it with love and care.
2. An international cat competition showcasing over 480 cats
The largest Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFE) Cat Competition will take place at the expo. There are currently over 480 entries, so you can expect plenty of cute and very much-loved kitties.
3. Petting zoo
Aside from feline friends, other animals will be making an appearance for you and your family to play with.
4. Exotic pet and reptile village
5. Appearance of an alpaca and other Farm In The City animals
There will be lots of activities for the whole family with the animals, such as rabbits, reptiles, birds, an alpaca, and more.
8. Fish scooping, activities with the parrots and other birds, and a rabbit and small animals display
9. Cat goodies for sale
You can expect to do a lil' shopping for your cat (or cats!) too, as there will be over 500 premium brands at the expo.
10. Free animal check-up
11. Food trucks, prize giveaways, and a lucky draw
In previous years, there were several food trucks set up for hungry visitors, serving meals, such as kebabs, pasta, and burgers.
This round, you can also expect to grab a bite if you get peckish from all the walking and activities.
The entrance fee is RM5 per adult and free for those below 12 and above 60 years old.
