This Is What Happens When You Let A Bunch Of Adults Become Kids Again

Because the most fun we have now is getting to stay up past bedtime.

Last weekend, the lovely people at KidZania invited us at SAYS to be kids again. Naturally, we said yes.

For those unfamiliar with KidZania, it's an indoor kid-sized city emulating the different "jobs" in the real world, where fellow little humans can engage in role-play activities to get real-life experiences of adult life. Except it's 100 times more fun than actual adulthood.

KidZania Kuala Lumpur is designed to encourage learning through role-playing activities. Featuring over 90 professions working within a real economy, KidZania allows kids to transcend the boundaries of the grown up world to play their part in a community and also experience the tricks-of-the-trade of their dream careers.

If you can't tell already, we were very excited

So, we were basically adults pretending to be kids pretending to be adults. Kid-ception much?

Before we went in, we were given a cheque each...

...so we could cash them into KidZos. These are all just too real, y'alls.

KidZos is the name of the paper currency in KidZania world. Also, this CIMB Bank in the background uses KidZos only, yo.

We then started our "job-hunting" and "job-hopping"

Seriously, only KidZania can make the prospect of finding jobs and working actually sound fun.

The boys were jealous we had so much fun, they wanted to join in on the action as well

When we're not writing stories on SAYS, we're saving lives

Not sure how well these two are at saving lives, though

We actually treat them really nice lah, okay. See, no sad faces there.

It was time for vengeance so we made our editor the defendant aka the offender

Just kidding, we love her and she loves us, okay! Also, she was found guilty for setting off a meriam buluh in the middle of the city, and was sentenced with I-forgot-how-many hours of community service.

By the way, how good does our writer, Samantha look in that wig?

Our writer, Farouq on the other hand, got to fulfill his childhood dreams of being a pilot and looking mighty dapper while he's at it

Would you trust them with your baby? Yeah, we wouldn't either...

Seriously, all the establishments in the KidZania city looked exactly like the actual thing except everything was smaller

Jobs in KidZania Kuala Lumpur reproduce scenarios that kids will face during adult life. This provides a way to positively influence how children relate and respond to an environment. Role-playing also gives children an opportunity to make their own decisions & develop a culture of continuous learning & accountability.

Before you turn green with envy, here's a lil heads up. KidZania will be opening up its city to adults with their exclusive ‘Back-2-Kidz’ event. So, go let your inner kid loose this 22nd and 29th August 2015!

KidZania will be giving adults the chance to try out its unique miniature city experience for 2 days only this August, on the 22nd and 29th from 6pm till 9:30pm. Seriously, you don't wanna miss out on the chance. We had so much fun, we were absolutely pooped out by the end of it. Faster go get your tickets now!

As for the skeptics out there, Kidzania did not pay us to say any of this, okay! They just showed us a REALLY good time. And now we want to go back.
