If you're planning a photoshoot around Petaling Street, The Batik Shop makes it easy to dress the part.
Located right in the heart of Chinatown, they offer kebaya rentals complete with batik sarongs, so you can wander through the heritage streets looking like you've stepped out of another era.
Rental prices start from RM49 for three hours, with 24-hour rentals at RM69, 48-hour rentals at RM99, and 72-hour rentals at RM129.
If you're not sure where to snap photos, the staff can also recommend picturesque spots around Chinatown.

2. D Sunshine Studio
Just a short walk from the colourful lanes of Kwai Chai Hong, D Sunshine Studio is a one-stop spot if you want the full Nyonya makeover.
Their three-day Nyonya attire rental costs RM138, which includes the costume, hair accessories, and props.
They also offer hair styling, simple makeup, and accessories ranging from RM58 to RM88, while professional photography packages start from RM398.
They recently added saree rentals too, so you can also dress up in traditional Indian attire.

3. Biku Biku by Ang Eng Nyonya Kebaya
Planning a family photoshoot? Biku Biku by Ang Eng Nyonya Kebaya has outfits for everyone, from women's kebayas and children's Nyonya costumes to baju Melayu for men and boys.
It's a great option if you're heading to the newly restored Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad or the nearby heritage district, where the colonial architecture makes the perfect backdrop for timeless family portraits.

4. Melody Costume Shop
If you can't decide on just one traditional outfit, Melody Shop gives you plenty of choices.
Besides Nyonya attire, they also rent Orang Ulu, Kadazan, Iban, and Bidayuh costumes for both men and women.
Nyonya outfit rentals start from RM60 for three hours and go up to RM150, while children's costumes are RM50.
You can also add on professional photography services (RM100 to RM500), Nyonya makeup (RM150), and hairstyling (RM80) if you want the full makeover before heading out for your photos.
