Eh guys, now that we've kickstarted 2022, you know what this means... Chinese New Year is just around the corner, woohoo :D
In other words, it's dong dong dong chiang time! Hehe.
And of course, as rituals and traditions go, we needa start prepping for the festive season at least seven days before CNY eve. From cleaning the house to putting up red lanterns and paper cuttings, and buying groceries to cook a feast, we've got a looooong to-do list to complete, but of course, it'll all be worth it in the end. <3
To usher in the festive season this year, Yee Lee has released an epic CNY star-studded music video that is not only touching, but also features a catchy song that'll confirm be stuck in your head
Featuring celebrities and influencers such as Chan Fong, Mei Yan, Danny Koo, and Jestinna Kuan, this music video presents a mix of modern and Chinese royal family vibes, hehe.
It tells the story of Chan Fong, who is under immense pressure when his mother, known as the Empress Dowager in the music video, demands that he throw a big party a.k.a. super grand CNY reunion dinner this year, whoa. :o

After numerous failed attempts to perfect his cooking for the grand reunion dinner, Chan Fong ends up feeling clueless, ngawww T.T
As much as Mei Yan, Jestinna, and Danny want to help Chan Fong successfully throw the best CNY dinner yet, they're at their wits' end and can only watch him fail from a distance. Jia youuuuu, Chan Fong!
But, as luck would have it, Chan Fong discovers a scroll that holds the answer to organising the best CNY party ever, yay!

With lots of help from his family members, Chan Fong manages to throw a grand CNY celebration that has bright red and yellow decor, a lion dance performance, and even Chinese opera performers. Wahhh. :O
In fact, his siblings — first uncle, second aunt, and third uncle — are there to lend a helping hand to please the Empress Dowager. Can totally count on family members to be there for each other lah. T.T
And the Empress Dowager's verdict? A well-deserved round of applause, woohoo!
