If you're a small business owner or just starting out, you know how confusing it can be to navigate digital tools and government requirements. The good news? Help is now just around the corner.
The government has officially launched the Pusat Rujukan Inklusif Usahawan Madani (PRIME) service at all 222 NADI centres across Malaysia. Think of it as your new go-to spot for all things business-related .
No more running around for paperwork
In the past, you might have had to visit several different government agencies to get things done. With PRIME, that's a thing of the past.
You can now head to your nearest NADI centre to ask about:
- Government financing
- Business licences
- Training programmes
- Digitalisation efforts
The goal is to save you time and stress so you can focus on running your business while trained officers handle the legwork for you .
Expert advice right in your neighbourhood
This service is a team effort between the National Entrepreneurial Institute (INSKEN) and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
While MCMC provides the facilities and internet access, INSKEN has trained the NADI staff to become experts in helping entrepreneurs. Whether you're a local hawker or a small shop owner, these officers are ready to walk you through the application process for various government schemes .
Helping businesses go digital
The government has big plans for this initiative, aiming to support between 30,000 and 50,000 entrepreneurs by the end of 2026 .
This is a huge step forward. Back in 2021, research showed that many small businesses in Malaysia struggled to grow simply because they lacked the knowledge or access to digital tools . By bringing these resources to NADI centres, the government hopes to make digital growth accessible to everyone, no matter where you are located .
