1. Oriental Chicken with Mushrooms | 15-minute recipe

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 can (290g) Prego Black Pepper Sauce
- 300g Prego Spiral Pasta
- 25g dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked for 20 minutes until softened
- 10g dried black fungus, soaked for 20 minutes until softened
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 spring onions, sliced (separate white and green parts)
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger, finely chopped
- 500g chicken thigh fillets, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cook Prego Spiral Pasta in a large pan of boiling, salted water, according to packet directions. Drain shiitake mushrooms and black fungus, and slice thinly.

2. Heat oil in a large saucepan and cook white part of spring onion, garlic, and ginger until golden brown. Add chicken, turn up the heat to high, and cook until chicken is firm. Add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.

3. Add Prego Black Pepper Sauce, ½ cup water, dark and light soy sauces, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil and simmer for a further 2-3 minutes.

4. Stir in pasta, mix well, and serve garnished with sliced (green) spring onion.

Here's how to make it fun for kids:

The great thing about spiral pasta is that it's super easy to arrange - you can use it to create a lion's mane or even as curly hair for your children's favourite characters. Try to also experiment with a few different ingredients, like omelette for a lion's face and seaweed for clothes and facial features. Boil the spiral pasta ahead of time and allow your kids to arrange it while you prepare the sauce.

2. Fettuccine Marinara | 15-minute recipe

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 can (300g) Prego Tomato, Basil & Garlic Pasta Sauce
- 275g Prego Fettuccine Pasta
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 200g peeled medium-size prawns
- 250g crabstick, cut into 4cm lengths and shredded
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1-2 tablespoons chili paste
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh red chilli, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cook Prego Fettuccine Pasta in a large pan of boiling, salted water, according to packet directions. Drain.

2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and chili, cooking for 2 minutes until fragrant. Add prawns, stir-fry for 4-5 minutes before adding crab stick. Cook for a further 2 minutes.

3. Stir in Prego Tomato, Basil & Garlic Sauce and ¾ cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with pasta. Garnish with coriander and chili.

Instead of just serving your pasta, all you need is whimsical plating to get your kids excited about food.

Try separating your sauce and pasta to make a Poké Ball, and cut out some cheese and seaweed to create a cute Pikachu. Or, you could mix your pasta and sauce together to form fluffy hair for a cute clown with a cherry tomato nose. And don't forget to hide those juicy prawns under Pikachu and the clown's face for a delicious surprise.

3. Angel Hair with Chicken and Mushroom | 25-minute recipe

INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cans (300g) Prego Carbonara Mushroom Sauce
- 500g Prego Angel Hair Pasta
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced
- 300g button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 35g (1/3 cup) parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Heat olive oil in pan. Sauté garlic, mushrooms, and sliced chicken until golden.

2. Pour in Prego Carbonara Mushroom Sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Serve pasta sauce over cooked angel hair pasta. Top with grated parmesan and enjoy!

Here's how to make it fun for kids:

If your children are picky eaters, adding some cutesy elements to their meals might just get their appetite going. Swap out chicken breast for some kawaii sausages that won't take you long to prepare. All it takes is a few cuts to turn a normal sausage into a cute octopus, snail, or even Totoro!

Pro Tip: Use Kimball mayo and seaweed for small details like eyes, and cheese for larger surfaces.
