Up Your Breakfast Game With Lady's Choice's New Savoury Spreads That Are Simply Delish
Chicken Spread and Tuna Spread, mmmmm!

Nurturing your children into healthy, happy little humans is what every mother longs for. It's the little things that make up the joy of motherhood, like playing with your children, reading them a bedtime story, and preparing nutritious meals for your little ones <3
However, when you're a busy parent, you need something you can whip up in a jiffy for your kiddos before they start their online classes for the day.
In conjunction with their #KeepingItReal campaign, Lady's Choice recently released their Meaty Spreads. Consisting of a Chicken Spread, and a Tuna Spread, they are chock-full of Omega-3, mmmmm!
Omega-3 are important for your health. Omega-3 fats are necessary fats that must be obtained through your diet. They're good for your heart, brain, and metabolism, among other things.
Instead of using sweet spreads in the mornings, you can easily substitute them with these delicious savoury spreads that are a much more nutritious option for your loved ones :D
1. Crispy Baked Chicken Patty Foldover
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless chicken thighs
- 4 tortilla wraps
- 4 tablespoons of Hellmann's Smoky Caesar
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs + 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
For the coleslaw:
- 1 cup purple cabbage, sliced
- 1 cup cabbage, sliced
- 1/2 an onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 2 tablespoons of Lady's Choice Chicken Spread
- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- Salt and black pepper powder to taste
Directions:
1. For the coleslaw, mix all the vegetables. In a small bowl, mix the wet ingredients until well-blended. Pour the sauce mixture into the coleslaw and mix well. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
2. For the crispy grilled chicken, brush the chicken with Hellmann's Smoky Ceasar Dressing, garlic powder, and paprika. Then, coat the chicken with the breadcrumb mixture. Place the chicken on a tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven to 160˚C for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.
3. To serve, place coleslaw and grilled chicken on top of the wrap. Drizzle Hellmann's Smoky Ceasar Dressing over the chicken, fold, and serve hot.
2. Easy Chicken Meatball Sub
Ingredients:
- 300g of chicken breast, chopped
- 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon of Lady's Choice Chicken Spread
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 4 sub sandwiches, buttered and unsalted
- 1 cup of young spinach leaves
- 1/2 a cup of grated parmesan cheese and cheddar cheese
- Cooking oil for frying
For the sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted tomato puree
- 2 tablespoons of Lady's Choice Chicken Spread
- 2 tablespoons of Lady's Choice Real Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of water
- Pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients for the balls well. Divide the mixture into 12 and form balls. Fry the balls until 3/4 cooked. Lift and set aside.
2. In the same pan, lower the heat and add the tomato puree, Lady's Choice Chicken Spread, Lady's Choice Real Mayonnaise, water, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Then, add the balls and simmer until fully cooked.
3. Cut the sub from the top, arrange the young spinach leaves and three balls on top. Drizzle with sauce and garnish with cheese. Ready to serve.
3. Inari Quinoa Salad
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of quinoa
- 2 tablespoons of Hellmann's Roasted Sesame
- 2 tablespoons of Lady's Choice Tuna Spread
- 12 inari tofu skin pieces (Japanese tofu skin)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the topping:
- 200g shrimp, boiled and mixed with 1-2 teaspoons of Hellmann's Roasted Sesame
- 2 eggs, prepared as scrambled eggs, with 1 tablespoon of Hellmann's Roasted Sesame
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 20g blueberries
- 20g wakame (flavored seaweed)
- 1 narutomaki (Japanese fish cake), sliced
- Black sesame for decoration
Directions:
1. Cook the quinoa according to the instructions on the package and let cool. Then, mix with Hellmann's Roasted Sesame Dressing, salt, and pepper until well combined.
2. Gently open the inari tofu skin and spoon the quinoa mixture into the pocket. Add a little Lady's Choice Tuna Spread and arrange the toppings on top according to personal preference.
3. Garnish with black sesame seeds and it's ready to serve.
4. Papaya Kerabu Fish Fillet Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 8 slices of fish fillet coated in breadcrumbs
- 4 multigrain bread slices, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons of Lady's Choice Tuna Spread
For the papaya kerabu:
- 150g young papaya, coarsely sliced
- 4 shallots, thinly sliced
- 50g purple cabbage, thinly sliced
- 50g carrots, coarsely sliced
- 4 kaffir lime leaves, thinly sliced
- 1 lemongrass stalk, chopped
- 2 bird's eye chili, thinly sliced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon Lady's Choice Tuna Spread
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- A pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry the fish fillet until golden yellow. Set it aside.
2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients for the papaya kerabu until well combined. Set it aside.
3. To serve, spread Lady's Choice Tuna Spread over the bread. Place the fish fillets and papaya kerabu into the bread. Ready to serve.
